The Bistrot de Pays label has selected Le Rucher des Rousses in Lozère in the first edition of its guide

À l’occasion de son 30e anniversaire, le label Bistrot de Pays vient de sortir son tout premier guide national.  Le Rucher des Rousses est de la partie. 

On the occasion of its 30th anniversary, the Bistrot de Pays label has just released its very first national guide. The Rucher de Rousses, close to the Tapoul gorges, holds a special place there. The place offers a friendly moment for a snack, a local meal or an authentic stay in the heart of Lozère.

Fresh and local products

Cévennes goat's cheese salad, pelardiflette (pelardon tartiflette), grandmother's bourbouillade, sweet onion gratin, squash gratin, vegan recipes, chestnut fondant are on the lunch menu every day (and in the evening on Saturday). In the kitchen, Émilie and Romain only use fresh, local products. The bistro also provides various services such as bread delivery, catering, parcel relay, grocery store, tobacco shop, takeaway meals. Five chalets for 4 to 6 people are available for rental, including one with PMR access. A call for applications for the label has begun in order to identify, select and label thirty new establishments which will join the 122 existing Bistrots de Pays (bistrotdepays.com).
