The Bras Cassés Volley club celebrated the end of the season

The 2nd edition of the club tournament “Bras broken volleyball” took place at the gymnasium.

The 2nd edition of the Rodilhan Bras Cassés Volley (BCV) club tournament took place on Sunday June 23 at the gymnasium of the Pierre-Barrère sports complex. 70 people divided into 8 teams of 6 players from Redessan, Nîmes, Générac, Bagnols-sur-Cèze and Rodilhan took part in this tournament which took place on a mix of volleyball practice surfaces (ground hard in the gym and grass (green)).

Each team played 10 sets during the day interspersed with festive moments and discussions. In the ranking: 1- "Ancient glories" BCV; 2- Bagnols sur Cèze; 3- Redessan 1; 4- Nîmes Volley Ball (NVB); 5- Générac; 6- BCV 2; 7- BCV 1 and 8- Redessan 2.

After the tournament, pancakes, crepes, drinks and wine from the AgroCampus of Nîmes-Rodilhan were served to all the participating teams. « Sport and conviviality bring us together », indicated Michel Le Pennec, president of Bras Cassés Volley (BCV) which will celebrate its tenth anniversary in 2025. The club includes twenty- eight adult Ufolep licensees who train and/or play on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the gymnasium and participate in various championships.
