The budget vote is always a highlight in the life of a community. This Tuesday, February 13, at 9:30 a.m., the budgetary orientation debate will be on the agenda of the Metropolitan Council. The broad outlines of the initial budget will be presented, allowing elected officials to express themselves on the subject.
Among the 48 other files on the agenda, the first two will be devoted to the examination of reports: one on the sustainable development objectives in the Metropolis, and the other on gender equality
A report from the Regional Chamber of Accounts on the Association for the Promotion of Tourist and Economic Flows (APFTE), which paid aid to airlines, will be examined for the 2018 to 2021 financial years.

Three points will have the theme of Villeneuve-les-Maguelone beach and the concessions located there.
The construction of social housing will also be on the agenda. A grant will be awarded to Promologis for 22 apartments in Fabrègues and Prades-le-Lez, and another to ACM Habitat for 66 housing units in Castelnau, Clapiers and Montpellier.
Concerning the high school project in Cournonterral, an opinion will be given on the compatibility of the local urban planning plan (PLU) of the municipality and the declaration of public utility (DUP).
Finally, a point will be devoted to the assessment of the prior consultation within the framework of the project to requalify the Place des Martyrs de la Résistance (prefecture), in Montpellier.
