L’association alésienne All Style passera dans plusieurs communes pour faire découvrir au grand public le sport en général. Ateliers et spectacles gratuits sont programmés du 5 au 12 août.

Young Cevennes people surely know this All’Style flocked caravan which travels through the neighboring towns every summer. For one evening, it is unpacked, a stage is set up, as well as sporting and cultural activities: ball games, introductions to capoeira, hip-hop, graffiti, but also music. Among others.

"It’is a concept accessible to all, of great simplicity", explains Jawad Frikah, director of the All’Style school. "We propose a time for everyone to go to places where there is not necessarily much happening during the summer, to be in places accessible to young people. This is where the caravan format comes in handy!"

Make sport attractive

The concept of traveling evenings was born after Covid as part of the "Quartiers d’Été" scheme, set up to relaunch cultural activities in the most isolated places. "Since then, we have kept the concept. Even if the need has diminished, and life has resumed since Covid, the proposals still decrease in August, and the caravan brings a little animation. We try not to change the recipe."

All’Style does not go it alone on its tour. The dates are chosen to intersect with other events scheduled in its host cities. For example, on August 15, she joined the Saint-Ambroix summer festival, and on August 10, the evening planned as part of a “Summer for all”… (read opposite). In this way, it supports local animators, whose activity declines in the summer season, encouraged to join in the activities in front of the caravan, to raise awareness of their sport, their activity.
"Young people who practice a sporting activity are also invited to come and encourage the youngest to register in their clubs or associations at the start of the next school year", concludes Jawad Frikah. "What matters most to us is to integrate them." Each animation is obviously free.

What stops for the caravan ?

For the first date of the week, Monday August 5, All Style has planned to stop in Anduze, on the Place des Cordeliers. The next day, she will be on the Place des marchés of Pres-Saint-Jean. On Wednesday August 7, stop at the City Stade de Rochebelle, before joining the town of Saumane on Thursday August 8. Friday August 9, head to Grand-Combe. Saturday August 10, it is in the Cévennes district, opposite the Maison pour tous that she will stop before a one-day break. The caravan will resume on Monday August 12, at the Tamaris city stadium, then end its long tour in St-Ambroix, on the church square. Each activity will take place from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. except for the stop in Saumane, scheduled from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
