Le Cercle des fermières de Vimont offre 400 masques à la communauté

LAVAL – Six farmers of the Cercle des fermières de Vimont, Laval, have created and sold over 400 masks reusable on a voluntary basis, allowing to raise $ 3,000 for the Society of Saint-Vincent-de-Paul, Saint-Elzéar, in the framework of the fight against the pandemic.

“The Farmers are always involved in the community by knitting on a volunteer basis, toques for newborn babies and, for us, it is with the heart that one has participated in this surge of generosity”, said the president of the Cercle des fermières de Vimont, Joanne Menard.

The deputy Jean Rouselle and councillor Michel Poissant, who have sponsored the purchase of the equipment, invite new citizens to go get their mask at the cost of $ 6 and $ 8 (depending on the model chosen) this Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the church of Saint-Elzéar in Laval.
