A further sign that Quebec is continuing its déconfinement, movie theatres begin to reopen their doors as early as Friday in the four corners of the province.
The giant Cineplex announced, Tuesday, that eight of its twenty theaters in Quebec would open on from 3 July. The other rooms will re-open gradually throughout the month of July, there were specified.
Devotees of the dark rooms will be, however, entitled to a very different experience than in the pre-COVID. In particular, the number of places will be limited in the rooms and the clients will need to be separated by empty seats, to comply with the spacing social.
Remember that Quebec currently allows rallies interiors of more than 50 persons, to the extent that it is possible to meet the separation rules social in the hall.
In addition, Cineplex will keep its ticket office closed. Quebecers who want to go see a film are encouraged to opt for the purchase of the ticket online or use self-service kiosks, in addition to book their place in the room. Only debit cards and credit will be accepted.
Cinemas Guzzo, which has reopened as of Friday, have adopted similar measures to revive their activities, all according to the instructions of the public health.
