The Sétois Running club organized the 9th edition on the seaside in Sète of this 5 km race, dotted with inflatable games and Holi powder throws.

Running while having fun. This is the magic recipe for the Color People Run in Sète which attracted nearly a thousand registrants this Sunday, March 24 in the morning, including many children, for its ninth edition organized by the Sétois Running club. Five short kilometers from Place Roger-Thérond on the Lido promenade side by the sea but lots of memories with family or friends, over the inflatable obstacles and the Holi powder jets (named after this festival of spring in India, Editor's note). As for Corinne who came from Colombiers near Béziers, to join her friends from Sète for the 2024 edition. "I missed it last year so I I asked them to let me know as soon as the race came back, says this sportswoman who even took up the challenge with Vianney and Auxence for their first participation: running with a mascot, a stuffed chicken, and bring it back as soon as possible upon arrival. Mission accomplished in the first fifteen, they were rewarded with a pretty bouquet. "What's nice is that there's no timer, it's jovial, we really run for fun".

"A race not in serious mode"

The young Sétoises Louisa and Tosca often run together. But this Sunday it was Color People Run with their group of friends. As the kilometers went by, they found themselves in a duo and really enjoyed the moment: "It’was cool, there were lots of games, the colors were great too. rsquo;was too good", confides one of the young girls. "There are people, it’s friendly, it’s not a race in serious mode, it’s really good, full of colors  !", adds her friend. On arrival, the participants, some dressed in costumes, were treated to a foam bath, refreshments and sweet and colorful candies. Something to appeal to young and old.
