The company Gim'Nautic, based in Sète, celebrates its 20th anniversary

La société de Sète célèbre ses 20 ans.

La société spécialisée dans le nautisme, mais aussi dans la compétition, fête ses 20 ans ce vendredi 11 octobre à Sète.

The bet began naturally with the inevitable “paperwork”, the financial framework and of course the construction of the site in a corner of the Aquatechnique park in Sète. It continued with work, the development of expertise, and respect too. 20 years ago, Aline and Laurent Gimenez took the plunge into the business. With the unwavering support of the family, rich in experience acquired in boat repair, they created Gim”Nautic. Today, the workshop offers a full range of sales and repair services for pleasure boats. Over the years, the “house” has also distinguished itself through its exploits in various water sports.

Exploits in various water sports

Participations under the name Team Gim in several French, European and even world championships, in various powerboating disciplines have helped to extend its reputation beyond regional borders. Benjamin Rouve, the assistant mechanic who grew up with the company, is no stranger to this success. With his cousin Dorian in 2018, they became Thundercat vice-world champions behind the South Africans, in Fréjus. The team has also distinguished itself on multiple occasions in water skiing, offshore racing and raids, notably in Italy, Spain, Belgium and Germany. Friday evening, family, friends and customers celebrate these 20 years of good and joyful services.
