Brought forward by a day due to the mobilization against the extreme right this Saturday, the demonstration for the Palestinians of Gaza took over the Paul-Riquet alleys this Friday, June 14, shortly after 7 p.m., before marching on the Alleys.

Initially planned for this Saturday, June 15, the demonstration for Gaza was brought forward by 24 hours, due to the rally against the extreme right organized by the left-wing forces, at 3 p.m., at the Bourse du travail. It therefore took place this Friday evening, starting at 7 p.m., at the foot of the statue of Riquet.

With Palestinian flags and portraits of victims of the conflict in hand, some 150 to 200 people demonstrated their support for the Palestinians in Gaza, victims of Israeli bombardments. Around 7:45 p.m., the participants formed a procession that went up the Allées, under police escort, chanting various slogans, such as “Israel assassin, Ménard accomplice” or “we are here, we are here, for the honor of Palestine and for those who are being assassinated, even if Macron or Ménard do not want it, we are here”.
