A dog named Teddy helps patients in hospitals and nursing homes in the United States.
Britain’s Andy SAS was in the hospital with severe pneumonia after chemotherapy. The doctors had to put him in an artificial coma, but feared that because of the weakening of the body exit from this state will be delayed or not take place at all.
At the request of the relatives in the ward, the patient was allowed to let the dog named Teddy. Pet barked, and the SAS came out of the coma — three days before the most optimistic projections. In addition, the men quickly went on the amendment that he was discharged less than a week.
The owner is confident that he saved that dog. He gave the pet to the training of dog–therapists and now Teddy helps the rehabilitation of patients.
