The driver of a scooter evacuated by helicopter after an impact with a car, near Montpellier

The accident occurred this Thursday, July 11, around 1:45 p.m., in Fabrègues, west of Montpellier. The driver of the scooter was evacuated to the anesthesia-resuscitation department of the CHU.

The driver of a scooter was seriously injured in a collision with a car, this Thursday, July 11 around 1:45 p.m., in Fabrègues, at l  rsquo;west of Montpellier.

The collision occurred at an intersection, near the Le Botanic campsite, Chemin du Cinque. The car hit the two-wheeler as it was restarting after stopping at a stop sign.

An investigation opened by the gendarmerie

The victim was evacuated by the Civil Security Dragon 34 helicopter, to the anesthesia-resuscitation department of Lapeyronie University Hospital.

The gendarmes of the Saint-Jean-de-Védas brigade carried out on-site observations and opened an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
