The second edition of the Families Forum will take place on March 16, in Millau.

What services to support children in Millau ? This is the question that the City wishes to answer by organizing the second edition of the family forum, on March 16 , in the René-Rieux room. The idea is to bring together the different players in the world of early childhood in the same place, so that parents, future parents and grandparents have concrete answers, from professionals live. "This is a need that emerged during the global territorial convention, presents Sylvie Martin-Dumazer, the elected official in charge of the Early childhood. There was a need for information for families and the Early Childhood Pole had positioned itself as a central point on the issue. He wanted to expand and integrate as many partners as possible into this process."

Indeed, around the table during the presentation of this second edition of the family forum in the city of the glove, different faces came to represent the Family Allowance Fund (CAF), the Municipal Center for Social Actions (CCAS), social centers, the Department of Aveyron, Greta and even Barbouille. Everyone will be there to answer the families' questions. "We wanted to build something coherent and make it as simple as possible for families", adds the elected official.

A playful stroll

To do this, and so that visitors see all the actors present on the day of the event, circulation will be like in a Swedish furniture store which has now crossed the borders of the Scandinavia. "Last year, we welcomed more than 250 families and this new edition is eagerly awaited, pleads Sylvie Martin- Dumazer. We will also publish a small booklet with all the necessary information, updated compared to last year."

During this day, various workshops will be offered to families by the partners, with a common theme, that of the 18 students of the CAP Educational Support for Early Childhood of Greta de Millau. & quot; They prepared quite a few activities and carried out all the preparation, notes the representative of the training institute.

A day for early childhood

This day, resolutely geared towards families, will be, like that of last year, dedicated to Early Childhood (0-6 years). "It's a wonderful asset, we are really lucky to have all the actors gathered at the same time in the same place, < /em>welcomes Sylvie Martin-Dumazer. We wanted to solidify this stage around early childhood to then grow and reach a larger audience."< /em>

Parent-child workshops

Throughout the day, parents will be able to take advantage of the various workshops offered by the partners of the Millau Early Childhood Center. One will be shot towards bedtime and a "little routineà realize" To facilitate this moment, social centers will set up manual activities, such as the Early Childhood Center and the Barbouille will introduce parents to makeup for their children. Between sharing and practice, this second edition of the Families Forum hopes for as much success as the first.

The meeting is also aimed at future parents, welcomed with great pleasure, and who will also be able to anticipate the expansion of their family.  "We also invite as many people as possible who do not have children to come, adds Clara Héran, professional at the Early Childhood Center.  This day allows you to have all the information from the partners, it allows you to save time for the future and to have all the information in one hour."
