Tweets HART began to publish in the American press immediately after the American film Academy declared it the ceremony in 2019.
In one of the tweets 2011 Kevin HART wrote: “yo. If my son will return home and try to play with the Dollhouse my daughter, I’ll break it over his head and say, “Stop it, you gay.”
American LGBT organization GLAAD turned to HART, the Academy and ABC television broadcasting “Oscar”, with a request to discuss such rhetoric. In the Academy has not responded to the queries of journalists.
Currently, this tweet was deleted, but there are many other messages which the comedian throws insults the LGBT community.
In 2010, HART wrote that someone’s profile pic on Twitter is similar to “homosexual is AIDS.” And the year before that, he was named one of the Twitter users “fat face faggot”.
On 7 December it became known that HART refused to 91st ceremony of awarding the prize “Oscar”. Its decision he explained that he didn’t want to be a “distraction” at the ceremony, where there will be many “amazing talented artists”.
“I sincerely apologize to the LGBTQ community for my incorrect words in the past”, he wrote.
Kevin HART also expressed regret that his old friends to offend anyone. He said all this in the past, and that he changed his Outlook.
“I’m almost 40 years old. If you don’t believe that people can change, grow, evolve, I don’t know what to tell you,” said HART.
