The concept shows the front of the car has not finished to do little. After Montreal and Drummondville, Quebec will host its tour on the festival FAUV 14 and 15 August, two evenings of comedy respectively, managed by Mehdi Bousaidan and Mathieu Cyr.
The place of the festival should be known in the next few days, said one of the organisers, Jean-Sébastien Boudreault, vice-president for legal affairs at Sportera.
It is two evenings of humour where will be several guests of stand-up. On August 14, Mehdi Bousaidan will receive Mathieu Cyr, Étienne Dano, and P-O Forget. The next day, it will be the turn of Mathieu Cyr host the evening and to welcome Jérémy Demay, P-O Forget and Jean-Michel Martel. Other guests will be added to the list.
The festival of humour at the wheel, was a great success in Montreal from 3 to 5 July. In three days, 1800 cars and 4000 people attended the five performances in the parking lot of the international airport Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau.
Over 1200 cars are also expected to attend this weekend in Drummondville. After Quebec, the festival will return to Montreal.
“The response is super positive, by both the public and artists. At the beginning, some of the comedians were a little more fearful […] to the idea of humour in front of the windshield, but after the first edition in Montreal, everyone had fun. Some of us have even asked to come back, ” said Jean-Sébastien Boudreault.
The latter plans to even go to present the festival a little everywhere in Quebec by the fall.
“The objective of FAUV, it is to put a balm on all the negativity that surrounds the pandemic. You want people to forget their worries and think of something else. It was also important for us to give back to a scene in the comedians and make the culture alive.”
Tickets are on sale from midday today on the site fauv.ca, from $ 60 for a car and two people.
