The football section of Jean-Moulin high school disqualified from the Jean-Leroy challenge after clashes

Hard blow for the Biterrois who will not go to Clairefontaine.

Qualified for the French UNSS football section championships – the Jean-Leroy challenge – the Biterrois from Jean-Moulin high school will not be able to defend their chances following their disqualification.

Qualified for the final phases of the Jean-Leroy challenge, the football section of Jean-Moulin high school will ultimately not go to Clairefontaine. Following the scuffles at the end of the game, she was disqualified.

"A commission met and we were disqualified, laments Pierre Hugues, the referent of the section . I find this to be a very harsh decision. There was an exchange of blows at the end of the game but nothing too bad. It’s sad for the students who will no longer have the opportunity to participate in this event."

Also disqualified from the next edition, the Biterrois appealed against this decision which they consider "disproportionate".
