Plus de 300 cyclistes, souvent venus en famille et sourires aux lèvres, ont participé ce samedi 12 octobre à la troisième édition de la vélorution millavoise organisée à l’initiative de l’association In’VD.
Mountain bikes, electric bikes, tandems… and other strangest pedal-powered bikes. This Saturday, October 12, the third Vélorution was an undeniable popular success. A real “carnival of happy people” as hoped by the organizers, the In’VD association.

Starting from Place Emma Calvé, after a warm-up "for fun" with a tribute to the 150th anniversary of Millau station, a coincidence in the mobility calendar, which fell on the same day, the peloton slowly gained momentum.
The idea of a two-wheeled carnival was widely acclaimed. MIDI LIBRE – F.MAYET

With, beyond the escapade, a fundamental subject: the future greenway expected between Millau and Aguessac. The In’VD association recalled that it had launched a petition that had already collected more than 800 signatures. Yannick Douls, municipal councillor delegated to mobility who represented Mayor Emmanuelle Gazel on a trip to Paris for Aveyron en Seine, gave assurances that the project, after technical discussions with the SNCF, should be completed in 2026.
