Une réunion publique organisée par le Collectif citoyen a été l’occasion pour les uns de faire part de leurs reproches et pour les autres d’argumenter.
The Collectif citoyen du pays saint-affricain has just organized a public meeting with on the agenda the project of a new bus station on the Place Leclerc, in other words the future multimodal exchange hub (Pem) managed by the Region with the town hall and the community of communes. According to a municipal presentation in the spring, two bus lanes will be created along the sidewalk between the Foch college and the village hall.
The one against the college will allow five school buses to park. It extends along the village hall where two other Lio buses will be able to park. The second parallel lane will allow coaches to circulate freely without having to wait for the previous bus to leave. Approximately 94 non-impermeable parking spaces are planned on Place Leclerc compared to 96 currently. Also planned are 14 spaces for two-wheelers, charging stations for four electric vehicles and spaces for car sharing. There will be secure parking lockers for bicycles with electric charging and hoops.
A remarkable sequoia preserved
The sequoia is preserved. Two mulberry plane trees against the houses are also preserved and four will have to be cut down. Six maple trees located in front of the college will be transplanted and seventeen trees planted. A building will be built next to the village hall that will include a shelter for travelers. About thirty people took part in the meeting, including five municipal and community elected officials and an agent in charge of urban planning. The discussions lasted a good hour.
Among the complaints made by residents and neighbors of the square, there is a lack of information. Some say they did not receive the municipal bulletin that presents it or do not read the press. Others ask that the Pem be built on the site of the current bus station and the technical services that will have to move. Residents and neighbors ask that the four plane trees be preserved. The CCPSA regrets not having received a response to a request for a meeting with the mayor several months ago. The elected officials argued the advantages of the project. Without convincing a consensus.
