The girls of the Mende Gévaudan handball club take the lead in their National 3 championship

Sébastien Frey's players won 21-20, this Saturday March 16, 2024, against Pays des Nestes handball.

The girls of the Mende Gévaudan handball club (MGCH) are going very strong, in this 2023-2024 National 3 season. After finishing second in phase 1, they are currently playing in division 1 of phase 2 .

National Objective 2

In a top match for first place, this Saturday March 16, at the Vernède gymnasium, they won 21-20 against Pays des Nestes handball (Hautes-Pyrénées).  Cameroonian Mélissa Awu Agbor-Ba particularly stood out by scoring nine goals for MGCH. The other scorers are Lucie Courder (2), Inès Simoes (3), Sia Bourgeois-De Genève (1), Alysson Boulet (3), Camille Hermet (2) and Claire Thiebaut (1).  

With 22 points, Sébastient Frey's players are at the top of their championship, one point ahead of Pechbonnieu Coteaux Handball (Haute-Garonne), and two ahead of Pays Nestes handball. With five games to go before the end of the season, the Mendoises see the National 2 getting closer.
