Main investigation Department of the Prosecutor General’s office has completed the pretrial investigation of the shooting in the City in December 2016. Then in the village near Kiev in a shootout between police units had killed five militiamen.

The investigation has been completed. The suspects, defenders, victims and their representatives may familiarize with the materials of the case. This was reported by press Secretary of the Prosecutor General Larisa Sargan.

In the case of five suspects — the head of the criminal investigation Department of the Department of national police in Kiev, the Deputy chief of Department of criminal police of the Shevchenkovsky police Department in Kiev, the senior inspector of Department of management of the Case quickly and sudden action of national police in Kiev, head of operational services and head of Department UOS Ukraine in Kiev.

These persons are accused of excess of office powers accompanied by the use of weapons and caused grave consequences (part 3 of article 365 of the criminal code of Ukraine). In addition, are charged with the organization of a complete attempt at a premeditated murder of two or more persons, in a manner dangerous to the lives of many individuals. Another accusation — a Declaration of false information (article 366-1 of the criminal code of Ukraine).

We will remind, on the night of December 4, 2016 in the village of kniazhychi, Kyiv region there was an incident when police from different divisions opened fire on each other. The results of investigation of seven officers who were in managerial and operational positions, and was dismissed from the ranks of national police.
