“The incident is still fresh in our minds”: the strike continues at Arthur Rimbaud college in Montpellier

En grève depuis ce lundi 11 juin, les professeurs du collège Arthur Rimbaud de Montpellier doivent décider ce mercredi matin des suites à donner au mouvement.

The strike continues today at the Arthur Rimbaud college in Montpellier, where the mobilization of teachers began this Monday, June 10. In question, the ruling of the mission entrusted to a senior advisor who went to the establishment as reinforcement after the attack suffered by Samara on April 2.

For Vincent, parent of a student in 4th grade, the observation is clear. "You have to mobilize in this situation, it’s not normal for your work to stop today while the incident is still fresh in our heads", denounces the Montpellier resident, crossed in front of the establishment. "It’s totally irresponsible to stop your work today barely 2 months after the attack in Samara. We don't want to find ourselves in a situation like that again", adds anonymously one of the professors at the establishment.< /p>

The teachers must meet this Wednesday, June 12 in the morning, before taking up their posts, to decide on the continuation of the movement.
