Wednesday June 19, as part of a can collection since April, in Bagnols-sur-Cèze, the Knet Partage association and its partners came together to build a fresco of the Olympic rings at the Saint-Exupéry sports complex.

Wednesday June 19, the Knet Partage association, the golf clubs, ping-pong, handball, the Sainte-Marie high school and the IME Les Hamelines de Bagnols-sur -Cèze, came together to build a fresco of the Olympic rings using cans collected in a dumpster.

Around 3,000 cans were collected for this purpose and a fresco of a poppy (symbol of anti-waste) was also created. This operation was carried out thanks to the support of the town hall, the Agglomeration, the departmental Olympic and sports committee and "the people who played the game& ;quot; adds Laurent Gautier, president of Knet Partage.

Symbol of hope: "bring a positive message"

The objective of this event was to successfully combine sport and disability and give people an environmental reflex. Laurent Gautier maintains that "the goal is for there to be no more cans on the street. […] Through art and colors, we want to bring a positive message".

This initiative in favor of recycling shows that waste can have several lives and allows us to “keep hope in life". The Knet Partage association, with this type of project, collects funds then donated to other associations.

"The next step is World Clean up Day on September 20, reservations are open on the website& ;quot; announces Jennifer Obid, delegate for sustainable development of the City.
