The Lédenon circuit got a makeover this winter
Having reached forty, the Lédenon circuit has allowed itself an appreciable and serious facelift this winter. Reopened to its car and motorcycle users last week, it now offers them brand new asphalt, capable of meeting the expectations of the most demanding among them.
"We carried out a complete renovation with a new coating, the installation of new vibrators and the rearrangement of the aisles. We also took care to optimize adhesion and flatness. The first feedback from the drivers is all laudatory,” explains Marie Botella Bondurand, at the helm of the Gard circuit.
"Be part of an almost permanent modernization effort"
The track had not been the subject of work of this magnitude for more than fifteen years. "The time had therefore come to get down to it, continues Ms. Botella Bondurand. In today's world of circuits, the magic of the layout is not enough. To follow the movement and prepare for the future, we must be part of an almost permanent modernization effort. This is why we are continuing in parallel with work to completely overhaul our buildings."
The complete 2024 agenda
Many riders will take advantage of this "beautiful tool" on two or four wheels in the months to come. The circuit agenda is already full with daily use guaranteed until October! In addition to private rentals, it will host regular days of driving training in prestige cars and car/motorcycle driving and, of course, the competitions that ensure its reputation.
French Circuit Championship in May
In the car, this will first go through the usual meeting with the elite of the French Circuit Championship and its famous GTs, on 10, 11 and 12 may. On the program, again, two TTE meetings (May 4 + June 1 and 2) and the traditional passage of the Coupe de France des circuits (September 21 and 22).
First motorcycle competition in March
The motorcycle program also looks attractive. A regular here, the Coupe de France Promosport will kick off on March 23 and 24, quickly followed by the French historic motorcycle championship (April 13 and 14), a unique series in Lédenon. This will be followed by the French Superbike championship (April 27 and 28), the Ultimate Motorcycle Cup (August 24 and 25) and the Rehm Race Days (October 5 and 6).
