This summer, the Lodève museum is putting in place numerous activities such as guided tours of the exhibitions and family workshops on prehistory. The Lodévois and Larzac heritage service also plans visits to the tourist sites of the Hérault Valley.

For the summer season, the Lodève museum and the Lodévois and Larzac heritage service offer a variety of visits and family activities almost every day, from July 9 to July 31. nbsp;August.

Among the key activities, visitors will be able to enjoy guided tours of the temporary exhibition "Psychoses" Tuesday to Saturday until September 15, which includes a movie night on August 30. Interactive visits called "the fake news of prehistory", linked to the permanent collections, are also planned on Saturdays, until August 31.

Practical workshops on prehistory

For the three “Tell Me" exhibitions, tours are available in three languages ​​with an audio guide and are accessible to people with reduced mobility.

In connection with the permanent exhibition of prehistory, family workshops are offered for children aged 6 to 12: Fossil casting every Friday; Prehistoric pottery on Saturdays; "False digs" on Wednesdays or "Painting like Cro-Magnon" on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

A Muder Party at the museum

Families will also be able to participate in games and activities within the museum, including: the Murder Party on Wednesdays and Fridays; "Paléo-Labo", an immersive workshop in a paleontologist's laboratory on Thursdays; an Escape Game to discover the "Earth Sciences&quot collection; in a fun way also on Thursdays; the "Roulotte de la Préhistoire", a trailer with reproduced prehistoric objects to touch on Tuesdays ; and « Little Cave Bear » a visit for the little ones on Wednesdays.

Finally, board games and independent tours will be available for any museum entry. Visitors will have the choice between a Cluedo Archaeology, a game of riddles and challenges on the museum's collections and a game "Who is this ?" sculptures by Paul Dardé.

Guided tours of Lodévois and Larzac with the Land of Art and History

At the same time, the guides of the Land of Art and History offer several visits each week to explore the particularities of the architectural and natural heritage of Lod& Vois and Larzac.
