The departmental Aubrac competition is being held this Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Place du Foirail in Nasbinals. It is organized by the departmental Aubrac breed union and the Chamber of Agriculture.

Parade

This competition gives rise to a day of entertainment in the small village of Aubrac in Lozère. The judging of the animals will begin at 10 am. In the afternoon, it will be the judging of the championships. The awards ceremony and the official parade of the animals will take place from 5 pm. Refreshments and catering are provided on site.

The most beautiful cows of the Aubrac breed from breeders in the Lozère region will be gathered for this occasion. This is a moment appreciated by farmers and by spectators, informed or curious, who can discover passionate breeders and appreciate the work of the judges, responsible for evaluating the animals according to several criteria reflecting the standards of this emblematic breed of the Aubrac plateau.
