The Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal (MMFA) will open on June 6, after more than two months of closure, with an online booking system.
The institution will start its activities with the presentation of egyptian Mummies : the past regained, mysteries unveiled, an exhibition that highlights the mummies and artifacts of the British Museum. It will be the only exhibition available at the MUSEUM.
A second exhibition, Paris, 1900, will be presented around mid-June, ” says executive director and chief curator, Nathalie Bondil.
In order to access the site located on Sherbrooke street, the lovers will need to complete a booking request on the website of the MMFA. This will limit the flow of visitors to comply with social distancing. Wearing a mask is also recommended, ” says Bondil.
The locker room, the rental of audioguides, the food court, cafe, workshops, guided visits and educational spaces will not be available.
