Attaqué par Mediapart et L'Equipe sur le fait qu'il détiendrait des actions au sein du club héraultais, le président de la FFR Florian Grill s'est expliqué sur ses réseaux sociaux ce mercredi.

Florian Grill responded to the controversy surrounding his MHR actions. In a Facebook post, the president of the French rugby federation explained that he only held 78 shares in the Montpellier club. "These 78 actions which have attracted so much media attention are valued at 5 euros each, or 390 euros…", he wrote on social networks.

1 symbolic euro

"Contrary to what has been written, I’have always been transparent about the holding of these shares which I’spoke about spontaneously on my Facebook page from 2019 and also in Midi Olympique and which I also spontaneously declared to the FFR Ethics Committee upon my election,” continues the leader.

He also explains that the shares should quickly be sold for a symbolic euro. "And if I had to collect 390 euros, they will be donated to the PUC rugby school, my training club, in addition to the donation I make every year", concludes Flofian Grill.
