After multiple operations carried out in April and May by the gendarmerie and the police, Cécile Gensac established a first assessment of the arrests carried out in Gard. The prosecutor of the Republic of Nîmes explains that the operations "net place" initiated by the Ministry of the Interior made it possible to have reinforcements on the arrest systems but that these cases were in the maturation phase. The head of the Nîmes public prosecutor's office indicates that these investigations were handled upstream of the XXL operations and that justice and the investigation services worked before, during and will continue afterwards.
