As planned, the Courteau circuit will set up four “bubbles” in Chicoutimi, Drummondville, Rimouski and Shawinigan, between January 22 and 24. Each team will play two games in three days.
From January 30 to February 7, the QMJHL will operate with three “bubbles” rather than four, dropping the one in Shawinigan. The Tigers will play in Chicoutimi, the Huskies in Drummondville and the Cataractes in Rimouski.
The league has yet to say whether that six-game streak will wrap up the regular season. The QMJHL, however, confirmed the 18-team playoffs in December.
The Maritimes teams are expected to continue their regular schedule starting January 21.
