The RCBM finally finds its stadium and its audience on Sunday

The Bagnols Marcoule Rugby club was starting to get impatient. After the drought and deterioration of the pitch at the Saint-Exupéry stadium, we had to wait for work to repair the pitch before being able to host a match. The second start of the RCBM will therefore take place this Sunday, January 7, at the Saint-Exupéry stadium. The yellow and black will receive the second of the group, Saint-Gély Pic Saint-Loup. Two matches which promise to be complex for the Bagnolais, currently ranked last in pool 1 of the Regional 2 Occitanie championship.
The team reserves at curtain raiser
"Even if, on paper, the opponent is better than us, both teams will be keen to seek victories, confides Michel Blanc, vice-president of the club. With self-sacrifice, courage, fight, and super aggressive defense, it can happen." Managers and coaches have confidence in themselves. Especially since the entire senior group will be reunited with their Bagnoles public and their loyal supporters. "Players must become aware of their possibilities and their qualities", continues Michel Blanc.
There is no doubt about the desire of the players to wear the club's colors high. The last training sessions at the Saint-Gervais stadium showed this. Despite the holidays and celebrations, the players were there, determined to prepare as best as possible for this first meeting of the year 2024. The reserve team will play in curtain-raiser from 1:30 p.m. before leaving place for the first team at 3 p.m.
