The RCBM is competing for its second Bouclier des Terroirs

The RCBM won the Bouclier des Terroirs last year.

Galvanized by their victory last Sunday, the seniors of the Rugby club Bagnols Marcoule are more ready than ever for the final organized by the Gard Departmental Rugby Committee. Last year, for the first edition of the Bouclier, the Bagnolais won their match against Saint-Gilles. This year again, the yellows and blacks will have to face their opponent from Gard to try to win the Shield.

Everyone hopes to reverse the trend and win the duel against Saint-Gilles. This season, the Bagnolais have already faced the blues and whites in their Regional 2 group in Occitanie. Two matches which ended in defeat for the RCBM. "A final is a special match in a season and for a group, explains Adrien Chalanqui, senior coach. The seniors are preparing as best they can for this event. We hope that there will be many Bagnolais supporters to encourage the players." Supporters will be expected at the Kauffman stadium in Nîmes for the occasion.

As the curtain rises, the public will be able to attend the regional final of Regional 3, between Vauvert and Marguerittes. The Bagnolais are expected on the Nîmes pitch tomorrow at 4 p.m.
