The RCMP presents a horse to King Charles III

King Charles III will soon receive a horse as a gift from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
The RCMP wishes to celebrate its own 150th anniversary and the coronation of the British sovereign.
It is a horse called Noble which will be offered to the new king. The animal is part of the RCMP Musical Ride, which Charles visited in May 2022 with his wife, as part of his mother Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee.
Noble will become Charles's troupe horse III when his current mount, George, retires. The King will then ride the horse donated by the RCMP when he takes part in the Parade of Colours.
“On behalf of Musical Ride, I can say that it is a tremendous honor that His Majesty the King Charles III asked to receive a horse from the Carrousel. The RCMP and the Musical Ride shared many special moments with Queen Elizabeth II during her reign by trading horses with her; it is therefore a great honor to be able to carry on this tradition with our new monarch from the first year of his reign,” said RCMP Superintendent Kevin Fahey in a press release.
