A book written by the niece of Donald Trump, who promises revelations about the us president and his family, will be released two weeks earlier than planned, on 14 July, said on Monday its publisher Simon & Schuster.
The announcement of the release of this book, entitled Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man (Too much and never enough: how my family has created the most dangerous man in the world, in French) — has triggered a legal battle of nearly four months of the us presidential election.
Robert Trump, brother of Donald Trump, has tried to block it in court, arguing he violated a confidentiality agreement that this niece of 55-year-old had agreed, in connection with the legacy of Fred Trump, the father of the president.
But a judge of a court of appeals in new york lifted last Wednesday a temporary ban on publication ordered two days earlier. It was felt that the publisher, Simon & Schuster, was “not part of the agreement,” privacy Trump and could therefore proceed with the publication.
It has, however, delayed his judgment on the question of the possible violation by Mary Trump of an agreement intended to prevent her from revealing family secrets. A hearing on this issue could take place on 10 July.
Mary Trump, psychologist, is the daughter of Fred Trump Jr., the president’s older brother died in 1981, at the age of 42, died of his alcoholism.
“A president who silences a particular is the last illustration of the troubling behaviors that have already divided a country fractured faced with a global pandemic”, she said, according to a statement sent by a spokesperson to the newspaper USA Today.
In this book of 240 pages, it tells of the events she witnessed in the home of his grandparents in New York, where they grew up, Donald Trump and his four brothers and sisters.
