Two little girls spent hours under observation in hospital at the end of June 2024, after drinking a drink of questionable taste in a restaurant in Australia.
"I was very afraid of what it was, I was afraid of dying"< /em>, said little Olivia Lemin, 11, to 9 News, on June 29, 2024, after drinking what had been ordered as a juice at a restaurant near Perth, Australia.
"Tastes like an insecticide"
"It felt like someone had poured fire on our stomachs and we had ants on our arms and legs", the child further declared to the American media. Her sister, Hannah, 12, described the drink served as "really disgusting", "with the taste of an insecticide.
Headache, heartburn…
The little girls spit out the "juice" saying that he is "poisoned", according to the words reported by their mother to 9 News. The latter also takes a sip and does not feel well either, suffering from headaches and heartburn, has notably resumed France live.
Emergency transport to hospital
The little girls were rushed to Perth Children's Hospital, while their mother was taken to a nearby hospital.
Mother and daughters were monitored for six hours before resting at their home. The family wants a thorough investigation to be conducted and hopes no other guests will experience what she experienced that day.
