Compatriot William Trudeau opened the scoring midway through the middle period by jumping on a return throw. A few minutes later, Teasdale doubled their lead after taking advantage of a superb pass from Anthony Richard in massive attack.

Tough guy Nolan Yaremko also added his two cents when his pass in front of the opposing cage deflected off the skate of striker Kristian Reichel and finished behind goalkeeper Arvid Holm.

Emil Heineman completed the scoring in an empty net.
