The Russians lose the Battle of Kharkiv

Russians lose battle for Kharkiv

After losing the battle of Kyiv, the Russian army loses another important battle, that of Kharkiv, the second largest city in Ukraine.

The Russian troops, which had already begun a withdrawal from the outskirts of the city a few days ago, retreated even further on Friday and yesterday.

Several Russian battalions were forced to retreat to avoid an encirclement by the Ukrainian army.

The Russians also suffered a humiliating defeat when they tried several times, in vain, to cross the river Donets, south of Kreminna.

Yesterday, Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the Ukrainian army had liberated more than 1,000 settlements in less than 24 hours.

Nevertheless, Vladimir Putin stubbornly persists in continuing the war.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who spoke to him on phone Friday, said there was no change in the Russian president, when he should gradually understand that only an agreement with Ukraine can get him out of the situation.

On the ground, the weapons sent by the NATO countries change the course of the war. Not only are Ukrainian soldiers winning in the north, they are also pounding Russian positions in the south.

However, despite these victories, the war is not yet won for the Ukrainians.

Yesterday the Russians captured the city of Rubizhne. In addition, the Russians continue to shell several towns in Donbass. For example, Russian bombardments reportedly destroy around 50 houses in the Luhansk region every day. ” alt=”Russians lose battle for Kharkiv ” />
