MONTREAL – Despite the heatwave, the clinical screening of the COVID-19 East of Montreal shall remain in office for the next few days.
However, the schedule of the mobile clinic that criss-cross the boroughs of Saint-Léonard and Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles have been modified. On Tuesday, citizens could go to be tested at the arena Rodrigue-Gilbert 10 h to 14 h, while the clinic will move to the arena Roberto-Luongo on Wednesday and Thursday.
The three clinics are permanent installed on the rue Chauveau near the metro and The Assumption, at the CLSC of the East-of-Montreal and to Cirque du Soleil shall be and remain open from 8 h to 18 h and 20 h to that of the rue Chauveau.
The CIUSSS of the East-of-the-Island-of-Montreal has, however, warned that with the heat wave announced, it is possible that the schedules be modified if we find that the heat may have impacts on the health of our employees and of the population”.
The arrival of the summer heat has led to cancellations of clinics here and there on the territory of the Greater Montreal area, including the side of the center Seneschal in Longueuil, thus generating some confusion. It is recommended to visit the internet site or the social networks of your CISSS or CIUSSS to know if the mobile clinics and screening centres are still based near you.
