The shops of Millau in the colors of the lovers’ celebration

February 14 is one opportunity among many to please your other half. There are numerous means and there is no shortage of shops in the city center of Millau to find a last minute idea. Lingerie, chocolates, flowers… the windows have taken on their dominant red in recent days, the color of passion, for this day which celebrates love.

For the occasion, Isabelle d'Ydéo even put on a nightie to win on her social networks. "C&amp ;#39;is the flagship accessory, smiles the owner of the boulevard de Bonald boutique. We don&# It's not just men who come, women also come through the door to please their husbands. It's a great opportunity to celebrate love forever."

Tasting love in boxes

For those with a sweet tooth, a few meters away, heart-shaped boxes dominate the stalls of Jeff de Bruges. "It always works,  assures Camille in store. We offer boxes with assortments and plaques with personalized messages." Nothing to be ashamed of for the latecomers, they are not the only ones rushing on February 13 and 14 to please their other half.

Roses, but not only that, at florists

Great classic of this lovers' celebration, the rose. She always does well at Mimosa'ïk. The predominantly red bouquets catch the eye from the first step into the store, but she's not the only one to be chosen as a gift.  "We also offer dried flowers, French red tulips, paintings…, present Laetitia and Emilie, hands taken by original creations. We also made paintings and we noticed that people wanted to change with country colors.& quot;

And there is something for all budgets. "We notice that customers look first at the price and we see that purchasing power has fallen severely", note Sandrine at Dalery in La Capelle. And despite a storefront in the colors of Valentine's Day, "I got more birthday presents than Valentine's Day&quot ;, smiles the store owner. There is therefore something for everyone in the city center of Millau and latecomers are spoiled for choice.
