The speaker of the Parliament of New Zealand, Trevor Mallard during the parliamentary sessions used to babysit a baby of another member of Parliament – Tamata Coffey. In July, Coffey and his partner Tim Smith gave birth to a child by a surrogate mother.

“Usually in the speaker’s chair sits just a head, but today however, was a VIP guest,” wrote Mallard on his Twitter page. He also congratulated Coffey with the addition to the family.
Earlier “Today” wrote that the Supreme court of India has ruled out homosexuality from its list of criminal offences. We also reported that in June the Czech government supported the bill on the introduction of a full-fledged institution of marriage for persons of the same sex.
