Taking over a failing company in 2015, Stanislas Piotrowski opened his EMBS computer store, offering advice and service around computer equipment. Located in the heart of the city, at 11, place Jean-Jaurès, "Stan" has a sense of local business.
Optimizing the use of computer equipment
Far from the larger, better-stocked but sometimes impersonal brands, he provides tailor-made solutions to his customers. They often come through the door to get advice, wanting to optimize the use of their computer equipment. “They seek advice, have repairs done, or order new equipment, explains the shopkeeper. When customers come into the store, they should feel good. I help them with their problems, I repair their computers and I show them the work done, and how to recover their data. I provide them with a personalized service.”
Having some financial difficulties with a sharp drop in his turnover due to the elections which slowed down commercial activity, Stan made it known on the networks and opened a support kitty. He is already very pleasantly surprised by the messages of encouragement. “We don't want you to close. Where are we going to go ?”, Christophe, Patrick and Steph tell him as they go around the market this Saturday, August 31. “You are doing a service to a lot of people around us”, they continue.
Customer recognition and attachment
Stan represents what is called “local commerce” in all its human dimension. This is reflected in the many positive reviews that his store has collected on the search engine Google, testifying to the recognition and attachment of his customers. He advises seniors who do not have the ease of young people with computers.
“I am ready to provide them with all my expertise and professionalism! I am a real technician and I can explain everything concerning computers from the ADSL line and optical fiber to the processor found in the computer. When I repair a computer, people do not need to come back for three years. And I sell reconditioned computers and I ensure the follow-up of the warranty. While I repair, I lend a computer. With the reconditioned, I work with brands like "Samsung" whose components are quality." Memory stick, processor, memory card, fan, Stan knows all the elements of a computer and he is appreciated for his availability and the help he gives to his customers.
"I have a small business and the customers are an integral part of it." EMBS is a real social link for the Frontignan community.
