The eastern Siberian city of Yakutsk, known for its cold weather, recorded temperatures below -50 degrees Celsius. 

According to CNN, the place experienced an abnormally long cold spell, even though the inhabitants are used to living with this kind of weather. The residences have added several layers of clothing to make sure they stay a little warm despite everything.

Yakutsk is identified as the coldest city in the world and it is easy to understand why.
