From October 27, the Musée de la civilization will present the exhibition The Time of the Pharaohs, where the we will discover how people lived at the time of ancient Egypt.
At this international exhibition, we will be able to see mummies, jewels and steles. < /p>
There will also be detailed models of Egyptian pyramids, temples and houses, animations and videos that will bring ancient Egypt back to life.
This new exhibition will succeed < em>Pompeii Immortal City, which ends on September 11.
The pieces in this exhibition come from the Egyptology collections of the museums of the University of Aberdeen, in the United Kingdom, and German museum institutions Gustav-Lübcke and Roemer and Pelizaeus.
The Time of the Pharaohs was designed by the Austrian firm MuseumsPartner with whom the Musée de la civilization had collaborated for the exhibition Maya which had a great success last summer.
