The UK foreign office issued a statement saying that the detention of Ukrainians in Russia is politically motivated and demands immediate release. This is stated in the statement of the British foreign office, reports EP.
It is noted that the UK is deeply concerned about the deteriorating health of three Ukrainian prisoners Oleg Sentsov, Vladimir Baloga and Emir Hussein cook.
“The conclusion of these people and many other Ukrainians looks politically motivated, and we call on the Russian authorities immediately to release them”,— said the British Minister for European Affairs, Alan Duncan.
“It’s a shame that the Russian authorities continue to refuse access to international organisations that monitor places of imprisonment, in particular, in cases where prisoners’ health deteriorating,”he said.
Recall that the EU has urged Moscow to immediately release Ukrainian Director Oleg Sentsov and other Ukrainian political prisoners.
As previously reported “FACTS”, shares the birthday of Oleg Sentsov #FreeSentsov were held in Kyiv, Moscow and Simferopol.
