Ukrainian boxer-heavyweight Alexander Usik (14 wins, 11 of them by knockout) was awarded The boxer of the month by the world Boxing Council (WBC). The organization’s President Mauricio Sulaiman handed the 31-year-old krymchanin recognized WBC boxer of the month for February 2018, a plaque and a signature jacket of the organization.

The forthcoming event will be attended by about 700 participants, among whom will be stars of world Boxing, including the legendary Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield and Lennox Lewis, as well as the presidents of the federations of the countries-members of the WBC, referees and sports officials.
In the framework of dialogue with journalists of the Kyiv mayor noted that each country is committed to spend such a large forum, and the capital of Ukraine will be this year is not only the capital of world football but also Boxing. According to him, in our country many talented people, and our task is to help them achieve their goals in the sport. In particular, during the Congress there will be special short Boxing matches, the purpose is to give chance for young athletes to Express themselves and to break into professional Boxing.
