The vintage car tour with Cévennes & Cars is on the horizon: what you need to know about the “Alesian Classic”

Cette balade touristique au roadbook dans les Cévennes se tiendra dimanche 15 septembre, au départ d’Alès. C’est réservé aux voitures de collection !

The Cévennes & Cars association, in the Gard, is organizing, on Sunday September 15, the third "Classique alésienne", a tourist ride of approximately 200 km in the Cévennes, open to vehicles that left the factory up to 1999. The departure and arrival are planned in Alès, at the Purple Campus.

At noon, after two and a half hours of driving, a lunch break will take place south of the Col de la Broue. Then, two options will be offered for the return: a long one of about two hours, on roads used by the Critérium des Cévennes and the Ronde Cévenole, and a short one of an hour and a half on, say the organizers, “a more serene route”.

What is the registration fee ?

The participation fee, for a two-person car crew, is 95 €  This includes the roadbook, two meals, a snack, the rally plate and the souvenir sticker. For a solo motorcycle, it will cost 65 euros, and 90 euros for a duo (5 euros extra to have the roadbook).
