This Monday, September 9, TF1 announced on Instagram a new jury for the next season of The Voice which will take place in 2025. Florent Pagny makes his big return to the red chairs after two years of absence.

Florent Pagny is making his big comeback on “The Voice” after a long absence due to his fight against cancer. Still convalescing, the iconic coach, who left his mark on the show with his 10 seasons (plus an All Stars season) and his five victories, will once again sit in the famous red chair for the 14th edition scheduled for 2025, indicates TF1 Info. This highly anticipated new season promises to mark a turning point for the show with a breath of fresh air.

A new quartet

Florent Pagny will be surrounded by a new quartet of coaches, with the participation of Vianney, who is back for a fifth consecutive season. Two big surprises are added to this group: the arrival of two international stars that we didn't expect in “The Voice”. Patricia Kaas, a legend of French song with a 37-year career, and Zaz, whose single “Je veux” has left its mark on millions of fans and has sold more than 5 million albums, are joining the cast. This new quartet will be tasked with discovering the next great voice of French song, succeeding Alphonse, the young singer with a voice similar to that of Jacques Brel, who was crowned winner last spring.

“Here is the first surprise of the new school year… And what a surprise! I still manage to surprise myself”, Zaz said on social media. She explains that she "decided to listen to her heart" and remembers those who helped her at the beginning: "I remember all those who gave me a helping hand when I was starting out, and so much the better if today, in turn, I can help those who dream of singing and making it their job."

For her part, Patricia Kaas shared TF1's official announcement on Instagram without adding a comment, but her participation is already being widely commented on by fans.

A broadcast planned for 2025

TV Magazine reports that filming for this new season of "The Voice" will begin in the coming weeks with blind auditions, before a broadcast planned for 2025. TF1 and the production also announced that this edition would be marked by new features, with a brand new set and new stages in the competition, without revealing more for the moment.
