The world’s tallest Ferris wheel opens in 2020
Its height is 250 meters, but inside the support of each “leg” of the wheels could fit 15 London buses.

Wheel record will appear in Dubai, its opening will coincide with the start of the world Expo 2020. The site is called Ain, Dubai.
Representatives of UAE companies Meraas responsible for the construction of the facility, said that the installation of the last spokes of a wheel has been successfully completed. Thus for the first time since the beginning of construction design took the form of a completed wheel.
Ain Dubai in numbers:
5 tons — the weight of each spokes that supports the wheel rim;
2400 km — the total length of all wires and cables inside of the spokes, if you link them to each other. This is comparable with the distance between Dubai and Cairo;
weight 16 Airbus A380 — equal to the weight of the wheel rim Ain Dubai;
250 meters — the height Ain Dubai (the height of the current champion, the High Roller in Las Vegas is 167 meters;
126 meters is the length of the pillars supporting the structure;
15 London buses could fit inside each foot each “leg” of the wheel;
9000 tons of steel used in the construction Ain Dubai, which is 25% higher than in the construction of the Eiffel tower.
After opening Ain, Dubai will be the tallest Ferris wheel in the world with a view on the newly created island Bluewaters Island, Dubai skyline and the Arabian Gulf.
