The Zonta Club returns to avenue Jean-Jaurès for its thirty-fifth flea market

It’s a return that will bring back many memories to many people in Nîmes. Sunday April 28, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Zonta Club Nîmes Romaines will hold its flea market on avenue Jean-Jaurès, between places Jules-Guesde and Sévérine. For a return to basics, the members of the women's services club who founded this event on the avenue in 1991, when garage sales were not in fashion…hellip;

For fourteen years, it brought together thousands of bargain hunters and, this was the maximum, up to 478 exhibitors. Alas, in 2006, the archaeological excavations, preludes to the renovation work on the Jean-Jaurès, pushed the Zonta to move the event to the Cap Costières car park. Always with undeniable success. Today, for its thirty-fifth edition, the team is betting on reconnecting with its roots. "We're testing !"
