The Agency reminded that earlier the Chechen Parliament unanimously adopted the decision on introducing to the state Duma legislative initiative on the amendment of the Constitution, according to which it is proposed to increase the number of allowable presidential terms to three.
The basis for the bill was the initiative of Ramzan Kadyrov on the extension of the powers of the President. In particular, in April the head of Chechnya said that the alternative to Vladimir Putin is still there.
