Sabry Vaderloge avait 23 ans. MIDI LIBRE

On March 30, 2021, Sabry Vadelorge, 23, was killed in the center of Ganges with seven stab wounds to the back. A 16-year-old teenager confessed to the crime, and four other defendants are also on trial before the Hérault juvenile court, for violence and concealment of criminals, in this case marked by poverty social and drug trafficking.

"They took my son from me and my heart is forever broken." Before the Hérault minors' assize court, where the closed session was lifted at the request of the general advocate, Isabelle Vadelorge empties her bag, this Wednesday, February 21, in front of the five accused involved in the murder of Sabry, 23, killed with seven stab wounds in the back, in broad daylight and in the city center of Ganges, on March 30, 2021. killed.

"My son, he was not a saint, he was a fighter,& ;nbsp;but that was no reason to kill him. I have one of those rages… They tore out half of my heart, but all gets paid, and they are traitors".

They are several young people with a background very similar to that of his son, marked by family ultraviolence, social poverty and a youth spent between homes and juvenile court. Issam, 19 years old, and his two cousins, Ilyes, 19 years old, and Mehdi, 24 years old, are in the box, while Kharfia, 44 years old, the mother of the last two, appears free, all like Osama, 23 years old.

The life story of this mother of six children sets the tone: a violent father murdered by his brother, a stepfather who raped her as a child, a son killed by his husband, then a new companion who abuses her daughter: for having turned a blind eye to these crimes, and to the one in which her nephew allegedly participated in Ganges, this mother of six children is at his third appearance before the Hérault Assize Court.

In the background, there are drugs, which these young people who live mostly in Nîmes or Montpellier have started selling for a few weeks on rue de la Vacquerie, where they sit on red chairs every day. Sabry, who grew up between Ganges and Sète, and has just separated from his partner, also spends a lot of time hanging out in the Ganges city again this month of March.

"I'm in pain, I'm going to die, I can't breathe anymore"< /em> said the boy before collapsing in front of the town hall, the day of the crime, around 1:30 p.m. "I saw the blood which came out of his back" says the witness who collected it. The autopsy will confirm that he received seven close blows to the lumbar region.

"The motive would be a turf war ? He had to be made to understand that he had nothing to do on rue de la Vaquerie ?" asks Advocate General Pierre Denier. "C’is the most likely hypothesis" replies the investigating gendarme.

Issam, who admitted to having stabbed them in the fight, claims that Sabry threatened them and extorted them on a daily basis. But several listenings suggest that the suspects agreed on this version, which may not be the truth. they are terrible: "This guy, he came every day, he looked good. It's simple for us, the people who show off, we sanction them. Four of us went there. (…) And be careful, it was a wild boar, too. (…) They were hitting him, I took out a knife, what did I do, curse the devil."

Verdict Friday or Monday.
