Season 2 of Nouvelle Écolefollows its course. Three new episodes of Netflix's giant cast were put online on Wednesday May 24 on the streaming platform, while the first four – during which viewers were able to discover the candidates for this second edition – were released last week. The grand finale will be available from May 31. And the least we can say is that this year's vintage is full of cult sequences. Whether it's a candidate who loses his lead during his elimination or the big tensions that almost caused a fight during a casting, the spectators get caught up in the game and follow the program with passion.

It is this last word that could perfectly describe the relationship between Shay, a member of the jury, and a competitor by the name of Dau, which greatly amuses the internet users. Indeed, as soon as the auditions took place in Paris, the two immediately matched. After a very successful performance by the artist from 91, the Belgian rapper splits a first statement. “I didn't doubt,” she says. “I love you“, then replies the candidate. “I love you too“, then retorts Shay, particularly complicit.

But Dau offers a lackluster performance during the test of the cyphers (rapping in a group on the same production), which moreover almost cost him her place. “You broke my heart. I'm in a bit of pain here. Since a while ago, I don't speak“, then said the former protege of Booba to the candidate. If he qualifies during the battles thanks to his opponent who forgot his text, Dau did not reassure so far. Doubts that persist during the next stage , where you had to shoot and edit a music video in 48 hours. “You look like a toxic ex. Every time I see you, I wonder: 'What is he going to do to me?' Why did we start? (…) You saw you had gone straight into my heart and there you left us on our hunger“, Shay strikes him.

However, he qualified once again narrowly. You have to believe that he had kept some under the pedal for the semi-finals. While the candidates had to perform a French rap hit in the company of its famous author on stage, Dau outclassed Naps on his own piece. It was enough for the relationship between the rapper and Shay to warm up. “Tonight you really made me happy. I've been waiting for you for a long time,” Shay says, as the audience begins to shout. “I think there's something in between,” Naps even comments from backstage. “When he wrote this sound, his verse there, he was thinking of me“, continues the rapper. “You left me, it's dead now, I can't! You did this to me!“, Dau retorts. A sequence that caused a lot of reaction from spectators on Twitter.

It remains to be seen how this beautiful story will end, in which the two protagonists like to have fun with a lot of second degree, during the grand finale of the competition.
